New Delhi. Success Story: Today in Success Story we are talking about Sangeeta Raghav, a resident of Gurugram. Sangeeta’s father Dinesh Raghav is a retired officer of the Indian Navy and her mother is a housewife. Sangeeta completed her 12th education from Dev Samaj Vidya Niketan School. After completing his schooling, he did his graduation from Government Girls College. After this he did his post graduation (PG) in Natural Resource Management from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU), Delhi. After post graduation, Sangeeta took admission in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) for PhD (PhD). But to prepare for the civil services exam, he left his PhD in the middle. The result of leaving PhD in the middle was that she became a PCS officer in the second attempt.

Let us tell you that Sangeeta got a chance to go to Nepal and Himachal Pradesh for the project of World Bank and South Asian Institute during her post graduation. There he got an opportunity to help the local people. Since then, she has decided in her mind that now she will try to do something better for the needy. After this he started preparing for UPPCS. Sangeeta had given the UPPCS Prelims exam for the first time in the year 2017, but she got very less marks in that exam. After this, Sangeeta worked hard for a year continuously for success in this exam. She regularly studied for 12 to 13 hours every day. For this he also took the help of many of his seniors. As a result, Sangeeta secured the second position in the UPPCS 2018 examination.

According to Sangeeta, during the special preparation of any exam, students should keep at least positive thinking people around them. Apart from this, students should also take out time to do yoga and meditation. He himself also benefited a lot from doing yoga and meditation. According to Sangeeta, apart from her work responsibilities, she wants to do something different for ending malnutrition among children, mental health and women empowerment. She wants to work towards spreading awareness in these areas and is also striving for it.
