new Delhi . Tata Motors today presented its auto sales figures on Tuesday. The company said that its total domestic sales in February grew by 27 percent year-on-year to 73,875 units. The company dispatched 58,366 units to the dealers in February 2021. The auto company said that its passenger vehicle sales in the domestic market last month increased by 47 per cent to 39,981 units as against 27,225 units in the same month last year.

Commercial vehicle sales in the domestic market grew by nine per cent to 33,894 units during the period under review, as against 31,141 units in the year-ago period.

Nexon EV Facelift
The company is now preparing to introduce the Nexon EV facelift. Tata also plans to launch electric versions of the Altroz ​​and Punch in the future. Tata will also focus on launching the CNG versions of the Punch, Nexon and Altroz ​​this year along with the Altroz ​​automatic.

Commercial vehicle sales in the domestic market stood at 33,894 units, up 9 per cent year-on-year as compared to 31,141 units sold in February 2021.

Passenger vehicle sales up 41 percent
Passenger vehicle sales increased by 41 per cent to 1,759 units in the previous month, up from 1,247 units sold in the same month last year. SCV Cargo and Pick-up sales stood at 16,303 units, a growth of 4 per cent over last year’s sales of 15,606 units. February 2021. Domestic sales of MH and ICV, including trucks and buses, stood at 14,596 units in February 2022 as against 12,825 units in February 2021.

Nexon crosses 3 lakhs
Tata Motors’ Nexon has crossed a milestone. The company celebrated the delivery of its 3,00,000th Nexon from its Ranjangaon plant in Pune. This is especially noteworthy as the Nexon sold 1 lakh units in less than 8 months of launch. The Nexon crossed the 2 lakh units mark in June 2021.

To celebrate these sales, Tata Motors has introduced 4 new variants of the Tata Nexon. SUVs – XZ+ (P) / XZA+ (P) and XZ+ (HS) / XZA+ (HS). These are in a special Royal Blue color and also offered in the company’s Dark Edition. Bookings have started at all company dealerships ranging from Rs 10.86 lakh for XZ+ (HS) to Rs 12.23 for XZA+ (P).
