New Delhi. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has donated his 5 million shares of Tesla. Musk donated these shares between November 19 and 29. However, it is not known to which organization Elon Musk has donated the shares. David Beasley, executive director of the United Nations World Food Program (UNWFP), was constantly asking Elon Musk to donate.
In a tweet, Beasley had said that only 2 percent of Elon Musk’s wealth, or $ 6 billion, would be enough to remove hunger from the world. In response, Musk said that he is ready to sell Tesla’s stock immediately, provided UNWFP explains to him how $6 billion will solve the problem of hunger. David Beasley had put a proposal in this regard on 15 November. Only then did Musk start transferring shares for charity from the next Friday.

Data released by the US Securities and Exchange Commission has revealed that Elon Musk has donated a large number of shares. But, it has not been told where this donation has been made. Tesla shares have been transferred in installments between November 19 and 29. United Nations World Food Program spokesman Steve Tervela also declined to provide any information regarding the donation made by Elon Musk. Terevala said- “Keeping in mind the privacy of our donors, we give the right to give any kind of information regarding the donation to the donor itself. We do not make any disclosure in this regard”. Some people believe that it is also possible that Musk may have donated this donation to his own charitable organization. The Musk Foundation was established in 2002 and as of the end of June 2020, it had a little less than $1 billion in money.
Conflict with MP Bernie Sanders

Announcement to donate half the property
Musk signed the Giving Pledge in 2012, promising to donate half of his wealth to charity during his lifetime or after death.
