New Delhi. Under the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan, the Ministry of Road Transport has made preparations for multi-modal connectivity and connecting village-villages by road. Under this scheme, green field expressways, highways and multi-modal logistic parks will be built, which will facilitate movement across the country and transport goods from one place to another. Work is being done in this direction by the Ministry.
16 ministries are included under PM Gati Shakti, including the ministries of railways and road transport. The Ministry of Road Transport has included many projects under the Bharatmala project. According to the ministry, there is a plan to build 22 green field expressways under PM Gatishakti. Apart from this, 23 highways and major infrastructure projects are also included. At the same time, preparations are being made to build 35 multi-modal logistics parks. There will be connectivity from village to village from all these projects of the ministry. NHAI, NHLML and NHIDCL agencies will build the projects in construction.

The major projects of the Ministry of Road Transport under PM Gati Shakti are Delhi Mumbai Expressway, Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway, Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway, Bangalore-Chennai Expressway, Ambala Kotputli Expressway, Amritsar-Bhatinda-VJamji Expressway, Raipur Expressway VZG Expressway, Chennai-Salem Expressway and Chittor-Thatchur Expressway.
These projects are getting ready
Zojila Tunnel in Ladakh, road connectivity from Krishnattam Port in Andhra Pradesh, Bada Bridge in Andaman and Nicobar, Lalpul-Manmao road in Arunachal Pradesh, 6 lane bridge over Ganga at Phaphamau in Uttar Pradesh, Dhubri-Phulbari in Brahmaputra in Meghalaya Bridge is being built.
