New Delhi. Noted industrialist and former chairman of Bajaj Group, Rahul Bajaj died in Pune on Saturday. He was 83 years old. He was suffering from cancer for a long time. He was associated with Bajaj Group of Companies for almost 5 decades. Rahul Bajaj, one of the most successful industrialists of the country, built Bajaj Auto in the field of two wheelers and three wheelers and took it to the leading position. At the same time, the people of the Indian corporate world expressed grief on the death of Rahul Bajaj on Saturday.
Anand Mahindra, the country’s veteran businessman and head of Mahindra & Mahindra Group, tweeted, “Thank you Rahul Bhai for giving advice, boosting morale. You will leave an indelible mark on Indian business.

Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, executive chairperson of biotechnology company Biocon, tweeted, “Industrial and former chairman of Bajaj Group Rahul Bajaj passed away at the age of 83. I am very sad. He was a very dear friend. The country has lost a great son and nation builder.
