new Delhi. Royal Enfield has started the deliveries of the special 120th anniversary edition of its popular bikes Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 in India. These bikes were launched at the EICMA 2021 motorcycle show to mark 120 years of the company. These special edition bikes have been specially designed.
These limited edition bikes were made available to customers in India, South-East Asia, America and European markets. A total of 480 units have been manufactured under the Limited Edition, which will only deliver 120-120 bikes in all these four markets including India.

All bikes sold out in 2 minutes
A live online flash sale was organized for these bikes on 6 December last year. This cell got tremendous response from all over the country. The special thing was that more than 17,000 registrations had already been done before their sale. The people who registered included people from big metro cities to small towns. 120 units of these special bikes were sold within 120 seconds i.e. 2 minutes.
What is different in this bike?
Talking about the specialty of these limited edition bikes, then features are seen in them like regular models. However, what sets these bikes apart is the handcrafted brass badge with the black-golden color scheme, which is a mark of the 120-year legacy of the RE. Apart from this, important changes have also been made in many other things including engine, silencer.

Will get great engine
The regular 648 twin-cylinder petrol engine is used in the limited edition bike, this engine generates power output of 46 bhp at 7,150 rpm and maximum torque of 52 Nm at 5,250 rpm. This engine comes with a 6-speed transmission. The company has given the theme of black color to all of them. Many original accessories like engine guard, flyscreen, heel guard and many more unique features have been given in this model.
