new Delhi. Wipro has informed Indian exchanges that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the company is scheduled on 25 March 2022. The purpose of today’s scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors of Wipro is to consider and approve the declaration of interim dividend for the financial year ending 2021-22. If approved by the board of directors of Wipro, it will be the second interim dividend by the IT giant this year. The company had earlier declared interim dividend in January 2022.
In view of the meeting of the Board of Directors of Wipro to consider and approve the second interim dividend, the trading window for dealing in the securities of the company is from 16 March 2022 to 27 March 2022. Closed till closing time.

Dividend given earlier
If the dividend is approved today, it will be the second interim dividend declared by this IT company in 2022. Earlier, in January this year, Wipro’s board had declared an interim dividend of Re 1 per equity share of value Rs 2 each to the members of the company. This first interim dividend declared by the Board of Directors of Wipro was paid by 5 February 2022.
