new Delhi. Tata Punch, the popular and affordable sub-compact SUV from Tata Motors, has achieved a new milestone in the country. The company has been able to sell more than 32,000 units of the Tata Punch within 4 months of its official launch.

Rajan Amba, Vice President (Sales, Marketing & Customer Care), Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles said, “Punch has sold a total of 32,000 units within four months of launch”. This shows that Punch is getting excellent response across the country.

After the Nexon, the Tata Punch is the best selling car of the company. Also, it is Tata’s smallest sports utility vehicle. It is based on the company’s ALFA-ARC platform (similar to the Altroz), which has a somewhat similar design to the Tata Harrier. The company has introduced Tata Punch in 7 color options. This includes Atomic Orange, Calypso Red, Daytona Grey, Meteor Bronze, Orcus White, Tornado Blue and Tropical Mist color paints.

Tata Motors has recently launched special Kaziranga editions of Nexon, Harrier and Safari including its popular car Punch in India. The design of the Kaziranga Edition is modeled after the one-horned rhinoceros, which is found in the Kaziranga National Park in Assam. The price of Tata Punch Kaziranga Edition is Rs 8.59 lakh, while that of Nexon Kaziranga Edition (Petrol) is Rs 11.79 lakh.

The Tata Punch is offered in India in four trim levels namely Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative. Prices of this sub-compact SUV start at Rs 5.64 Lakh and go up to Rs 8.98 Lakh ex-showroom in Delhi. The best part is that Tata Punch does not have a direct rival in India. However, cars like Maruti Suzuki Ignis, Mahindra KUV100 NXT, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite compete with it.
