The new feature is Take a Break. The ‘Take a Break’ feature was till now in only a few countries. Now it has been launched in all countries including India. This feature reminds you to stop your frequent use of Instagram and take a rest.

What is Take a Break feature
For Instagram’s Take a Break feature, you have to go to the Manage Your Time section of the app. You have to tap on the menu option in your profile page in the Instagram app. Now by going to Account option in Settings, you have to go to Your Activity section.

On Your Activity, you will see your time spent on the app. Below this, the options of Set reminder to take breaks and Set daily time limit will be seen. With the help of the Take a Break feature, users can set a break reminder for themselves on Instagram after 10 minutes, 20 minutes or 30 minutes of continuous use.

The time fixed here will not affect your daily time limit. Take a Break will remind you whether you have been using the app continuously for 10 minutes, 20 minutes or 30 minutes.
