new Delhi. Gurugram based electric two-wheeler company Okinawa (Okinawa Autotech) is going to launch its new electric scooter Okhi 90 tomorrow. After the launch of this high speed electric scooter, it will give tough competition to popular electric scooters like Ola S1 and Simple One.
Okinawa Autotech recently said that they have started their second electric vehicle production plant in Rajasthan. Ockhi 90 is going to be one of the prime models to be manufactured from this plant.

The 2022 Okinawa Ockhi 90 electric scooter is expected to come with a bold design, which will be a considerable advance over other electric scooters from the brand. Recently, the company released a teaser of this, which revealed that this scooter will be longer than the normal Okinawa model. The teaser also reveals that the Ockhi 90 e-scooter will get bigger alloy wheel tyres. Apart from this, the e-scooter will come with LED headlamps, LED turn indicators and LED taillights.
Will be equipped with advanced features
The Ockhi 90 electric scooter will also feature a fully digital instrument cluster, switch gears on both the handles, a compact rider footboard. The instrument cluster is expected to show a variety of information and will be equipped with advanced connectivity features. Its seats are expected to come with more riding comfort according to the rider and passenger. At the rear, it gets a thick grab rail.
150 km range
The scooter gets a large battery pack along with a rear-wheel hub-mounted DC electric motor generating power. Okinawa has already claimed that the Ockhi 90 high-speed scooter will come with a cruising range of 150 km on a single charge. The electric scooter is expected to come with a lithium-ion battery pack, which will allow the Ockhi 90 to run at a top speed of 80 kmph.

Will this be the price?
Okhi 90 electric scooter will give tough competition to popular scooters like Ola S1, Simple One, Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, Ather 450X when launched. The price is expected to be in the range of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom) at launch.
