Top Selling Cars With CNG Launched, See Price, Mileage

new Delhi. Maruti Suzuki Dzire is the best selling sedan car in India. It is very much liked by the people due to the features available in it at a low price, cabin size and comfortable interior. Now the company has also launched Dzire in CNG variant. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire S-CNG is available in two variants – VXI and ZXI.
Prices for the CNG-based model of the sub-compact sedan from the country’s largest automaker start at Rs 8.14 lakh (ex-showroom) for the VXI trim. Prices go up to Rs. 8.82 lakh (ex-showroom) for the more expensive and feature-loaded ZXI trim. The CNG variant of the DZire costs Rs 95,000 more than the regular petrol trims.

Desire S-CNG Exterior
Talking about its exteriors, there is not much difference between the VXI and ZXI trims. The ZX trim is offered with alloy wheels, while the VXI variant gets steel rims. Also, the VXI trim doesn’t come with front fog lamps, which are present on the ZXI grade. Nevertheless, body-coloured bumpers and door handles, ORVM-mounted turn indicators and much more remains the same on both the trims.

Desire S-CNG Interior
The interiors of both the models of the Desire S-CNG are quite different. Compared to the ZXI variant, the VXI trim gets a lot more than a less wide leather steering wheel, outside temperature display, rear defogger, start-stop push-button system, automated climate control, driver-side auto-up power windows. Coming to the ICE units, the VXI variant gets a 2-DIN head unit with 4 speakers, while the ZXI variant gets the SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment unit with 4 speakers and 2 tweeters.

Desire S-CNG Engine
The engine in both these trims is the same 1.2 liter 4-cylinder petrol engine. Which is capable of producing 76.4 Bhp of peak power and 98.5 Nm of maximum torque in CNG mode. With petrol, this engine produces 82 Bhp and 113 Nm of maximum output. Transmission options on the Dzire S-CNG include only a 5-speed MT.
