new Delhi. Toyota is going to launch the facelift model of its premium hatchback car Glanza on March 15. Ahead of the launch, Toyota has shared the teaser of the Glanza on social media. This suggests that this car will come with many connected car tech features. One of the special features in this will be that this car can be locked and unlocked with the help of smartwatch.

The Glanza news generation will be a revised version of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Maruti Suzuki launched the 2022 Baleno facelift last month. The new generation Baleno also gets many such tech features. It is expected that similar features can be found in the 2022 Glanza.

These will be other features
According to reports, the 2022 Toyota Glanza will get a larger infotainment system with 360-degree surround-view camera, as well as a head-up display and flat-bottom steering wheel. All these features have also been included in the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Apart from these, the new Glanza may also get features like rear AC vents, new HVAC controls, auto-dimming IRVM, and a sliding driver armrest on the updated Glanza hatchback. Toyota will also see the use of updated upholstery on the car.

As far as the design is concerned, the new Glanza is expected to get several updates. These could include a redesigned grille, a lower bumper as well as new alloy wheels design. The overall profile of the car is expected to remain the same as that of the previous generation model.

The 2022 Toyota Glanza will get a 1.2-litre petrol engine. It will generate power of 89 bhp and torque of 113 Nm. The company may also add an idle start/stop function to the car for better fuel economy. For transmission duties, the car will either get a five-speed manual or a CVT unit or the G and V trim options currently found inside the new model will also continue.
