Volkswagen’s new teaser on social media has shown some design details of the top-spec GT variant of the car. As per the video clip, the Vertus will feature unique sporty bits along with a slightly different equipment list on the outside. The teaser shows the GT chrome badge on the left corner of the grille, LED projector headlamps, L-shaped LED DRLs and a single slate grille with chrome surround. Apart from this, there will be a wide air dam surrounded by fog lights on both sides.

Talking about its profile, it will get a sportier set of 16-inch alloy wheels. There is one more distinguishing feature to differentiate it from the standard variant. There is also a GT badge on the fenders, while the chrome treatment can also be seen on the door handles and window line. At the rear, vertus badging on the boot-lid, boot-mounted number plate, wrap-around two-piece LED taillights and shark fin antenna are some of the noticeable features.

The upcoming Vertus sedan will be a much larger car than the Vento’s replacement and is expected to feature modern features like ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, an electric sunroof, a large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android.
