Instagram has reportedly updated the ‘Daily Limit’ feature on its app. As reported by TechCrunch, the Meta-owned platform has limited-time options available on the app, which now begins at 30 minutes. Apart from this, the company has also slightly redesigned the Daily Limit settings interface. Introduced in 2018, the feature is available on both Facebook and Instagram. Similar features are also offered by Apple and Google as well to help you manage the time you spend using your smartphone.
What is the daily app usage limit feature?
The daily app usage limit feature allows you to monitor how much time you have spent on a particular app. As the name suggests, the primary purpose of this feature is to limit the amount of time you spend on a certain app. The feature allows you to set usage time limits for apps and it gives you an alert when you’ve reached the amount of time you want to spend on that app for that day. You can change or cancel the reminder at any time.
How to use the daily app usage limit feature for multiple apps on Android or iOS smartphones
