Available in Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha trim options, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift price ranges between ₹6.35 Lakh and ₹9.49 Lakh (ex-showroom). Tata Altroz on the other hand is available at a price of ₹5.99 Lakh and ₹9.99 Lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in trim options like XE, XE+, XM+, XT, XZ, XZ(O), XZ+. Interestingly, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno is available on monthly EMI starting at Rs 13,999.
Talking about the features of both the cars, many updates have been done in 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno compared to the first model. Some such features are also being available in the new Baleno, which is a first in the segment. It is getting a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with color heads-up display (HUD), a 360-degree camera system, connectivity features, remote accessibility. Its exterior gets LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, sporty alloy wheels.
Talking about the Tata Altroz, on the other hand, it comes with an upmarket cabin, which is equipped with a seven-inch floating island pattern touchscreen infotainment system. It is paired with a Harman audio system, a sporty cockpit-inspired driving console, digital MID, leather-rapid gear shifter etc. Features like LED projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, 16-inch alloy wheels, rain-sensing wipers and cruise control are available in the car.

Engine and Mileage
The new Maruti Suzuki Baleno has the same engine as the old model. The 1.2-litre K-Series Dual Jet VVT petrol motor is capable of producing 89 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. The engine is available with a five-speed manual gearbox and Auto Gear Shift Transmission (AGS). Its manual variant gives a mileage of 22.35 and automatic variant 22.94 Kmpl.
Tata Altroz on the other hand is available in three different engine option variants. This includes two petrol and one diesel motor. For transmission, the car gets a five-speed manual gearbox. The 1.2-litre three-cylinder Revotron petrol engine is good for making 86 PS at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 3,300 rpm. It gives mileage of 18.53 kmpl.
