Smartphone brand Xiaomi has announced that it will unveil Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G in India on March 9. The company has sent a media invite where it says that the smartphones will be launched at an event scheduled for 12pm on March 9.
The company has been teasing the upcoming phones online via its social media accounts. Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G will join the other Redmi Note 11 series phones that are already available in the country. The company has launched Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11S in the Indian market. The duo falls under the budget price segment.

Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G are already available in China. Redmi Note 11 Pro comes powered by MediaTek Helio G96 processor, while the Pro Plus model is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset with 5G support.
Redmi Note 11 Pro has a 6.67 Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. The handset is offered in 6GB and 8GB RAM models with 64GB and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage.
On the camera front, the phone has an 108MP primary camera. It is paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, Redmi Note 11 Pro has a 16MP front camera.
It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and offers 67Watt fast-charging support. The handset runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 11.
The upcoming handsets are expected to be priced in Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 price range.
