It will be one of the first electric scooters from Yamaha to hit the production line and then later at dealerships in select countries.
This electric scooter from Yamaha is at par with the 50cc petrol powered scooter. It is based on the E02 concept, which was first showcased by Yamaha at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show. The company also sells an ICE-powered Neo 50cc scooter in select international markets, and the Neo’s EV is basically an EV in the same model lineup.

It comes with a hub-mounted electric motor. Which provides the required top speed for urban traffic. It also gets a swappable lithium-ion battery pack. The electric scooter from Neo is expected to reach dealerships in select countries this summer. However, the chances of its launch in the Indian market are slim. Meanwhile, the company has also showcased its E01 battery-powered scooter concept. Unlike the Neo, the performance of the E01 will be on par with its 125cc ICE counterparts.
